One of the great things to do in Austin during the holidays is go to the Trail Of Lights.  The Trail Of Lights is held in Zilker park every Christmas and runs Dec. 7th-21st.  There is also a fun run scheduled for Dec. 6th.  For more information check out the website.

Mozart's Coffee Shop is one of my favorite places to go in Austin.  It is right next to Hula Hut on Lake Austin.  A great place to go for date night, relaxing, working.  Has a great view of the lake plus good coffee and pastries.  Every Christmas they have a holiday light show.  I have not been to the show yet but, I am hoping to make it this year.  I'm hoping to make a night of it....hot cocoa/Motzart's Light Show, then Trail Of Lights at Zilker Park.  :)

Weather permitting, our annual Christmas light show will debut Friday, November 14! The shows will start at 6:00pm and will continue every hour on the hour until midnight. The shows will run until Sunday, January 4th.

The show will be bigger and better than all past years! Bring your friends and families to enjoy the show, hot cocoa in hand!

The Oasis Austin, TX (*Top 10 List*)

The Oasis is definitely a restaurant that you must go to while visiting Austin.  It is out on Lake Travis and has a fabulous view overlooking the lake.  It is perfect for sun set watching.  I have to say the food there is very average.  You are going for the view/experience.  They are trying to build it up more there with new retail shops/coffee shops/art shops and 2 new restaurants.  Definitely put it on your to see list while you are here.
